My picture on my Dr's Bulletin Board
Here I am Three Years plus post op and I am still going for my occasional fills.
I came in his office on Thursday and saw my before and after picture posted! I registerd and then sat down. There were 4 people sitting in the waiting area - one lady looked at me and then back at the board and then at me and she said, "That's YOU!" I smiled and replied, "yup! It is!"
I have to admit I was proud!
It's been a long journey and I sometimes get discouraged because I have such a long way to go, but I can be proud that I am still working on it - have never gained once, and still determined to get to goal. I have gone months without losing one pound, this happens, but the scale has continued to move in the right direction, slow but moving!
I love my LapBand! I love being smaller than I have been in 22 years! AND I love feeling alive again!

Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
I'd be proud, too. I'd be more than proud. I'd be pinning those photos to every bulletin board in town, and renting a billboard or two.
I admire you so much. You have fabulously well with your band, and I think part of your success can be attributed to your realistic, can-do attitude.
Keep up the great work!
