I'm two weeks post-op, and still weighing every day.  When the loss slows or stops, I'll go to once a week.  For now though, it's still every day.
One day at a time, and one meal at a time, and I WILL reach my goal!

Oh, heck -- some days it is like an aerobic activity -- I get on and off the scale 12 times a day, it seems.

I actually go to Weigh****cher's and I take their weekly weigh-in as my official weight -- but I weigh too much when I am home.

The first sign of denial for me is when I stop weighing regularly ---- then, I stop journaling and then I just eat and eat and eat.

I am determined to not slip back in to that behavior ever again.

I too had what seemed like an unhealthy obsession with my scale.  So what I do now is that I stop into my surgeons office once a week and use their scale.  This way I know that the scale is accurate, and it's the same scale that I started with.
