So excited!!!!

I finally got my nut date and surgery date!!!  I go see the nut on the 26th for an 8 hr nutrition class, and to meet with my surgeon and I have surgery scheduled for the 6th of June!!!  Woo Hoo! I am so excited and a bit more nervous too. The heat and sun tends to make me swell a bit, so I will be sure to remind Dr's at appt.  I sure don't want to be too tight from day 1.  Anyone else have that problem with the sun?  I do have discoid lupus, and RA so photo sensitivity has been an issue for a few years, but the swelling is just a huge nuisance. 

Anyway, it wont be long now til I am on the losers bench with the rest of ya!

I'm happy for you!   I know it is a huge relief to finally get your date.  It then sinks in that this is really going to happen.   Many drs do not give fills right away, mine waits at least 6 weeks so if yours is the same, you will only have the empty band.  Take it very slowly and do what your dr advises.   Follow it to the T.    I was on liquids only for 2 weeks after.   I wish you the best and let us know how it all goes.
