There is no icon of a very boring yawn or I would add one!
I attended an 8 hour workshop free where I work on Mindful Eating. It should have been a great presentation, but the speaker was very poor. She might be a pychologist, but she could she could not translate what she knew into something pleasant to hear. She could lead the exercises, but I am so disappointed. To make it worse, the speaker kept say "I" instead of sharing client histories in a meaningful manner to say it worked.
Has anyone on here read a good book about mindful eating? I know the speaker referenced the Am I Hungry program a lot.
Note: mindful eating is about slowing down & meditating over your food.

That's too bad it wasn't more interesting or presented in a better way. At least it was free?
I highly recommend any books by Geneen Roth. The first two books I read by her years ago were "Feeding the Hungry Heart" and "Overcoming Overeating". More recently, I read "Women, Food and God" and I'm just about to read her latest book "Lost and Found - Unexpected Revelations about Food and Money".
All of it is definitely related to slowing down and being "present" when you eat. She's compassionate and well spoken & has been overweight herself.
