My surgery is Scheduled for this Tues May 10th, I am very nervous but also very excited.. The Pre Op Diet has been a challenge.. But I am ready for the new positive change in my life.. Hi Michelle,
Good luck during your surgery tomorrow. I had my surgery this past August, and it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made.. I just regret not having done it sooner.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

My name is Michelle also, I am from Cincinnati Oh. I am 36 and scheduled to have my surgery this Wed. May 11th! Good luck tomorrow and I will for sure be your friend and support you! A good suport group is key!! Good luck!!!

Hi Michelle! You can absolutely message me if you need anything... I'm the same age as you and we probably went through the same "struggles" in order for us to say to ourselves, "hey, I need help!".
Its sooo normal to be nervous... tomorrow is your new birthday! Just know tomorrow, your band day is a wonderful day for a fresh start... to retrain ourselves and to learn and grow. There are going to be some bad times but for the most part, it's a very fun journey/ride!

all the weight has been lost post-op..I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

highest weight: 333 pounds (I know I gained after my last "weigh in" in the doctors office so probably it's more like 340 pounds)
current weight: 151 pounds (7/12/11)
I've been at goal (165 pounds) for 6 months now and now on maintence. I tend to go up and down depending on time of the month and such!

Thank you this was exactly what I needed.. Some positive support is always good for anyone. Most of the people here don't understand why I'm getting it. But I've done this for me and only me. Look forward to keeping in touch
