Holy Restriction Batman
Had an appointment with my surgeon yesterday only to discover that I had gained a pound (totally not surprised as I could eat a whole cow) and had another cc added to my band. The fill was a horrible experience way different from my last fill. He couldn't get the needle to access the port and it became a pushing/pulling/fishing and very uncomfortable experience. He thought the port had flipped but in the end he managed to get it.
Today has been way different from any other day since Ive been banded, I eat and get full (before I manage to inhale a whole side of beef) and then know when to stop. I'm thinking this may be restriction. I'm hoping whatever this new feeling is, that it stays around and doesn't abandon me after a day like a rogue gas bubble that suddenly leaves allowing me to eat to much again. I would fight the urge but end up getting hungry after a couple hours. This is such an awesome day!!

Does your surgeon want you to do fluids for 24 hours after a fill? There's swelling after a fill and you need to be careful not to get stuck.

I pretty much got that same feeling after every fill -- and it lasted (for me) for about 20 pounds.
With each 15 - 20 pound loss, I needed another fill to keep that same feeling.
It seemed to take less fluid each time (my last fill was .25cc) -- just a little 'top off' as I kept on losing weight.
As they say, "ride this feeling until the wheels fall off"
