PROGRESS pics inside! And a note of Thanks to you all!
Just thought I would share. This board has been such a tremendous source of support, advice and insight for me. I didn't really realize just how far I've come in this journey until this past weekend.
I was in a wedding and, of course, lots of pictures were taken. However, I have spent the last 8 - 9 years avoiding cameras at all costs. I was sick of cringing and/or crying whenever I saw a photo of myself. It breaks my heart to think of all the precious memories that I could have captured with my family and friends in that time. But I was too humiliated to deal with it.
The first two pictures below were taken this weekend. I am about 185 lbs. I am down 60 lbs since my surgery 9 months ago. I am down 75 lbs from my highest weight of about 260, which is what I weighed in the third photo below. That was my cousin's wedding in October of 2008.
I am so happy and proud of how far I've come. And again, I could not have done it without all your help and support. Thank you!!!

You can't go back and make a brand new start, but you can start from now and make a brand new end. 
Not sure why, but only 1 of my pics is showing up. Hmmm....I will have to play around a little more. I've never posted a photo before! It kind of loses some of the impact without the "before" shot!
your pictures.... Are you uploading them here on OH to your picture section first? Once you've done that, you can copy by right clicking, then paste them into your post. Does that make sense?
