Need advice

I have been banded for a year and a half.  Lately i have been having a rough patch.  I drink and then 5 minutes later i burp up a thick clear liquid.  Then a week ago I would eat and 45 minutes later i feel ill.  I feel trapped as it cost 300.00 to fill or unfill and I just don't have he cash anymore.   it is 7 an office visit.  My insurance didn't allow this so I have been paying cash and now i am broke.  Any suggestions?

If fluids are coming back up, something isn't right.  You need to call your surgeon. 

It sounds like you are too tight and need a little unfill. This is happening quite often anymore with people  over a year out and their bands start getting tighter. It has happened to me and I finally had my band emptied because of it. Like you I have to pay big bucks for fills and unfills. But you really have to get an unfill if you are having that much trouble because the more you throw up and slime the worst the problem gets. You could try doing liquids for a few days till the stomach calms down and then slowly add in solids but if that doesn't work you really have to get some taken out.
