Cant believe how much I ate
So im 3 1/2 months post op. Lost almost 60 lbs so far... doing great and feeling great. TOday however.. I ate like there was no tomorrow. All healthy dense protein but the quantity was ridiculous... and I felt fine afterwards... Usually I have the will power to stop... and I feel good. Not full but not hungry.
Ive had one fill already... but damn this was bad.
Has this ever happened to anyone else??

Sounds like you need a fill.
I watch my portions, but have occasionally eaten more than I should - things like salad can be eaten in larger amts - for me, anyway.
Dense protein, I can't do more than 1 cup and I get my soft stop - a runny nose!
In 3 1/2 mos. you've only had one fill, I'd say go for another one. It's probably time.

Hi,
I am 4 weeks post-op. I would so proud and happy to lose 60 lbs in 3 months. I wonder if we don't all just have "bad" days, even with a band........don't know too new to it and haven't gotten my first fill yet.
Whatever you were doing before was working so get back to it!
Good Luck!

I think you will find that on some days you'll be able to eat as if you were never banded and on another day you won't be able to eat a thing as your band feels too tight. Every day is different.
But on those "good days" when you can really eat, be sure you make wise decisions like you did with the protein.
And you might just need a fill. Everybody is different. Some people require more fills than others but even with an additional fill, you'll find you'll have good days when you can eat and bad days when you can't barely eat at all.
Good luck.
