HELP

Hey everyone, just sitting at work feeling helpless. I really need to see my doctor about getting another fill but I am stuck at work. I work on ships and right now I am overseas. I am waiting to see if the ships "doc" will let me go home. I really need to see me doctor. I I've been having pain at my port and I believe where the band is placed on my stomach. I have not restriction and sometimes food goes down and sometimes it comes back up. I am so scared that I have stretched my pouch. I have not been able to see my band doctor since Dec. I don't know what to do. Should I have them send me home so I can see my doctor or wait until my replacement gets here (which could be 1-2 months)? Thanks for reading my post and any insight in appreciated.

Could you call or email your Dr about your fears and concerns and see what they recommend ? That is what i would do first . Good luck and keep us posted!

When I just signed in to become a member, they asked for my surgeon's name.  Going through the list, there were hundreds of names listed.  Could you call your doctor and have him recommend a doctor that is close to where you are now?  Just a thought.  Good luck to you.

Right now I am off the coast of Libya and the next in port is Italy, so a recommendation for another doctor is out of the question.
