B:  GNC Amp 60 chocolate protein drink w/ baby banana shake (I've found that adding like 5 icecubes makes it frothier.  I had thought it would make it thinner and diluted!)

S:  1/2 cup Trader Joe's shelled edamame

L:  3 Trader Joe's turkey meatballs w/ 1/4 cup of ricotta cheese and a tablesoon of marinara sauce

D:  4 ounce salmon -- that's about it, can't get much more down after that, sadly

30 minutes elliptical this morning - second day back at the gym.  Said I burned 423 calories.  Heck I'll take it!

Lisa,

Talk to me about those Dr. Kracker thingies.  Where do you get them.  They sound great!! I am shying away from any types of crackers/carbs, etc.  But those have protein in them from what you've written in the past.

And seriously, only 174 calories for 45 minutes of step?  I'm not buying it!!!  So what is this Polar HRM? I'm assuming it's a heart rate monitor.  i just can't imagine a 45 minute step class is burning that few calories.  I did a VERY moderate, 2nd day at the gym, 30 days of elliptical this morning and the machine told me 423 calories.

Hi everyone!

I'm back from my mini vacation in Maryland for my husband's best friend's wedding. It was wonderful - so much fun with family and friends!!! And, remarkably, I ate and drank VERTY sensibly all weekend.

So glad to see that you kept this thread going. Whomever thinks of it and gets on the boards early in the day should just start it.

Here's my Tuesday:

Breakfast: Skim raspberry mocha, fat free cottage cheese w/ pineapple

Lunch: Salsa chicken w/ black beans

Snack: Almonds

Dinner: Probably baked tilapia and asparagus

You can't go back and make a brand new start, but you can start from now and make a brand new end.

Yep.  I've been on the loose side for days and days... last fill was in December.. been thinking of asking for .2cc at my next appt in June...

but today, instead of the squash/zucchini mix, I decided to eat the leftover roasted broccoli in the fridge.  Heated slowly at 50% power so it and the sirloin wouldn't dry out...

Broccoli tried to get stuck.  Oh boy.  Chewable papaya enzyme & a few sips of hot tea and I finally finished my 2pm lunch about 3pm.  :(   Yeah, I know taking that long could be considered "grazing", but I needed to eat real food... considering my last solid intake was at 8am.

I have NO idea why I suddenly got tighter.  It should've happened yesterday if it was going to happen (my neighbor's house burned down @ 2am, we were getting ready to evacuate just in case...).  I'm post-menopausal, so that's no excuse either.   Delayed reaction to yesterday??  or maybe the broccoli was dryer than I thought.  Who knows.

awful news about the fire.

I have NO idea why NOW my band whats to act wack a do .. that little witch KNOWS SHE is getting a FILL this week .. I haven't had one in year and I can eat my fair of things I should NOT.. like pizzzzza on friday yet "greens" get stuck it's like just my luck right before a fill and my friends at lunch are staring at me like really a fill lizette.. but I know I need one.. I just need a small tweek of .2 to help with the grazing and over eating BS ..

I think the ground meat was chewy too which I don't understand why it was 97% lean ground sirlion it didn't break up soft like lean ground turkey does.. oh well I'm getting this fill about 20 min I was able to eat a pure protein bar fine and 30 min later water so I'm fine now... but still I think soup is in order for dinner..

Lisa - Yeah, stress is a major cause of band tightness.  With everything you have gone through the last 2 days, this SURELY could be the reason you are tighter and it doesn't necessarily happen the moment a stressful incident occurs (could be a day, a week later,etc.).  It is probably temporary.  I hope you feel better soon.  I can't imagine seeing what you witnessed!  (((HUGS)))
