I really hope that Dr. Baptista can help you. I can't even express the amount of respect I have for him.

Definitely go to an ER if you have to. Take care of yourself and feel better soon!

Thanks! It's a painting I did recently of a skydiver.  I had this amazingly realistic and vivid dream that I went skydiving... and then I needed to paint it! Strangely, this woman just appeared in the painting... it's not me. I don't know who the heck she is!   I'm thinking she looks like an Osmond with all those teeeefs!

Next time you go to an ER tell them you can't keep any liquids down. Complain of abdominal pain right where your band is.

I'm so sorry to hear about your life struggles!  What a terrible situation!

If I were you I would 1. ) See if there are any Fill Centers America in your area.  If you can scrape the money together for a total unfill I think that would be the best for your right now.  2.) If there are no fill centers, go to the ER.  If you can't eat any solids and liquids are difficult they will have to call a bariatric surgeon to give you an unfill.

It's just not worth risking your heath and your band.  You could have a slip or it could just be stress and irritation that's causing the tightness.  Either way, you can't go on not eating.  You have kids that depend on you.  You must take care of yourself so you can take care of your kids.

You're in my prayers.  Let us know what you end up doing.

Tiffany, most hospitals have charity care.  If you call their social services dept they may be able to tell you how to go about applying.  Then I believe they would find someone who could help you.

Good luck!

I'm gonna jump in here too and I don't mean to scare you but this is very very serious! People on here have nearly died from this same situation and that certainly won't be good for your kids! The band itself can cause permanent damage to the stomach when it is this tight. I agree with whoeveer said complete unfill so you can ease the damage to the stomach. I'm seriously concerned for your long term health. If I were you I would even resort to begging the ex for money to unfill, it is that serious. You can't possibly be the best mother or employee with this going on. Please for your own safety and long term well being do whatever you have to to get a total unfill, it is mandatory at this point! If I could I'd send you the money myself! Bless you!

This is very upsetting.  So many of us have been through similar situations, but you current insurance and economic situation in addition to the pain you are in is heartbreaking.

I think the most immediate thing you can do is go to an ER where they do bariatric surgery and try to get them to totally unfill you.  I have a feeling you need more than that, but first things first.

Please keep us posted and I hope you get some help ASAP.
