Finally Banded Yesterday!

Hello - I'm back after getting my band yesterday morning (yea, me!!).

I just wanted to thank all the Bandsters who've shared their experiences and support.  I lurked for years, then finally joined OH last fall when I decided to move forward with the WLS process and I can truly say that I have really learned alot here.

My surgery went very smoothly yesterday and the overall experience was much less daunting than it probably would have been had I not joined this great community.  The overwhelming majority of you are so positive and have shared so much that I am just really grateful.

I hope that, as I move through my relationship with the band that I can be as much help to others as you have been to me.

Hey all!!! I am going through the pre-op steps to get my band.  I am nervous and excited all at once!!! What has been the usual turn around time for most of y'all?  I have been reading all the success stories and I feel like I made the right decision in doing the band.
