I went to my support group meeting last night and doc was there talking .  Because I have lost my 6.5 pounds for the month and I'm not hungry I can skip my May appt with him and just see him June 2nd :o)

That means time I see him again it will be my six month anniversary for my surgery and doing this without a single fill in me :o)

Yeah !!! and I got to brag last night at support that I'm in the 200's now and I have lost 50 pounds and 30 inches :o)

I have bowling league tonight and I'm wearing a new outfit tonight . Its a silk like royal purple top with cute Capri jeans I feel wonderful !!!!

Way to go, maybe you'll be in that select few that need very few fills! I think the less you have to mess with the band the better off you are. Keep up the great work!

Terrific work!!!For some people, the Band fits around their stomach snuggly so they already have restriction and hunger control without a fill.  This is why there are different band sizes too.  As our stomach fat padding decreases with weight loss, we need fills because the band begins to fit looser and looser.

You will reach that 75lbs no problem!

I'm so happy for you Steeler...You are just working your butt off with excercise and bowling too. You deserve that weight loss...It feels so good to be on the positive side of the band and watch it work for you...You have inspired me right from my surgery date...Keep up the great work and enjoy your new size clothes...I find myself working harder after reading blogs from positve friend like you...

Good work on the weight loss.  Just a question, why wouldn't your husband not take you to the game no matter what your weight?  This just doesn't sound right to me.  But of course it is none of my business.  Also I hope your band will loosen up.  I used to think it was great if someone never needed a fill.  But after many years and much thought I realize the purpose of the band is adjustment.  What happens in an emergency and it needs to be loosened and can't be?  Anyway I guess I'm not in the best of moods.  I am just so fed up with all the band bashing on this sight, it is making me a really "Evil Twin".  Keep up the good work.  Your positive attitude will make you a success. Thanks for letting me vent.  I'm passive, agressive today.
