Hang in there, Lucky. You did it before and you can do it again. You know what you need to do, you've had plenty of practice at it, and I don't give a do-wah-diddy what your garbage man thinks of your trash! Getting rid of the junky stuff is a great first step.

Hi Lucky,
You've done the right thing as far as getting rid of the foods that tempt you.  There are a couple of things I could suggest, (having gained and then lost 20 lbs this year).  I gave up sugar for a week and lost 4 lbs and it really helped with my carb cravings over-all.  Also, start tracking and measuring.  We all get lax in this area and it's a good wake-up call to go back and re-visit what we were doing early on post op when the lbs were dropping.

Inforce the request you made of your son to hide his crap foods.  It's so hard to be strong when your trigger foods are within easy reach.

I'm so sorry you're having more health issues.  You've had way more than your fair share!  I'm praying for you and have faith in your ability to get back to where you want to be for your daughter's wedding.

Keep hanging out with us too!  We miss you!

Oh I hear ya hon! It seems like the last 6 yrs. of my life have been one pain after another and we all know the best thing for pain is food! Or so we think. I know the I just don't care anymore feeling, sometimes I just want to crawl in bed and stay there with a gallon of Hagen Daz! If you don't have a specific pain doctor like at a pain clinic you might look for one. That is the only thing that has saved me. I have a degenerating spine, severe arthritis (even in my toes!) and fibromyalgia so life is just one big ball of pain, yet we have to go on. What helps me most even when I can't move around is to journal my food, it really helps make me aware of every bite. I wish you luck and know you aren't alone!

Nothing wrong with screaming.  Just don't add any food with it.  You can do this and seems like you have checked in with all your support groups, physical and spiritual.  Take care, you're on your way to a lighter you.

Lucky, I don't know where to begin!  First of all, I'm sending you a bunch of hugs!  Rotator cuff tears are painful and it's so important after surgery to do the therapy, or limited motion in that shoulder is no fun.  Dang, I feel for you!  My MIL had both done ( at different times) and she didn't do her therapy the best and now she's got limited motion in one of her shoulders.  So do everything you can if you have surgery etc.

Let your band do some of the work.  It sounds like you could use a little help, get that fill and take it easy at first.  15 pounds sounds like a lot, but gosh you are catching it before you gain 50 or more back.  Be proud of the steps you have taken and for posting here.  Years ago I did WW and lost 125 pounds and maintained for a day and then started gaining it all back and more.  I know the pain of gaining and wished I had stopped it at 15 pounds.

July 16th will be a day you will never forget.  You will be a beautiful Mother of the Bride, no matter what size.

We are here for you and I'm sending you positive wishes for an easier journey.  You deserve it!

Hugs,
Kristi
