What does slime mean??
Slime is excess saliva and mucus that your body produces to help lubricate and dissolve excess or stuck food. Sometimes it's full of air bubbles (and then called "foam"). Since sliming tends to happen when food is blocking the stoma, it can't go down, so it comes back up out of your mouth as drool or spit-up. Not fun, not socially acceptable, but not the end of the world, either. Most of the time, eating problems like stuck episodes, sliming, or PB's (productive burps or regurgitation of the food you just ate) can be prevented with careful eating.
