So its so weird now that i feel extremely guilty now if i eat like a whole can of anything....if i eat all my food i feel guilty. It deffinetly makes me pay attention to wat i eat and how much, and i guess the guilt keeps me from back stepping.. anyone else feel guilty now

Fortunately or unfortunately I never feel guilty about anything.  Occasionally that has gotten me into trouble.

LOL yup.  I wish I didn't feel guilt but I am the queen of it.  Now I have something new to feel guilty about.  Tonight I was eating dinner, 4 ounces of salmon.  I normally can't get through it without the "soft stop" burp.  Well tonight I felt like I was cruising through and suddenly I thought, OMG I am going to finish this.  No sooner did I say it then I burped. LOL  I was happy to leave some on my plate.  I'm a freak, I know.

But isn't it a conquering feeling to leave something on your plate and not having a membership in the "clean plate club" constantly.  An unexpected NSV.

How funny you posted this when today is probably the first day since surgery that I do feel guilty.  I ate a full size meal and didn't get my soft stop at all.  We had our Easter dinner today and I finished ham, mashed potatoes broccoli salad and coleslaw and topped if off with a micro size piece of awesome chocolate cake.  I have had two fills so far and generally have been satisfied quickly but today I was starving all day.  I am feeling very guilty right now but I will be back on track tomorrow.  I hope that doggone chocolate cake disappears quickly.

Guilty (but full)

Why are you feeling guilty?  I weigh out my 3 oz of meat and eyeball a 1/4-1/2c of a veggie and a little fruit.  You need to follow your surgeon's eating plan and get adequate nutrition.  Get rid of the guilt.  This is for life.  Do your best to eat the amount you are supposed to, so you protect your band/ pouch from problems. Take it one day at a time and you will do great!
