What I'm Eating Today - TGIF Edition!!!

Share today's menu with us! Everyone can join in, no matter what phase of eating you're in - liquids, mushies, solids, etc.

Breakfast: Coffee w/ fat free creamer, 1/2 light English Muffin w/ almond butter

Lunch: Greek yogurt w/ 1/4 cup Kashi cereal, almonds later

Dinner: Taco Salad without the Salad - ground turkey taco meat, fat free Greek yogurt as "sour cream," salsa, diced tomatoes, low fat cheddar cheese
You can't go back and make a brand new start, but you can start from now and make a brand new end.

5am Coffee w shot of expresso, f/f half/half & choc. s/f torani

7am  Oops..forgot to put muscle milk in fridge last night.. so brkfst is 1 Dr. Kracker Pumpkin Seed Artisan Cracker w/ 1 wedge Laughing Cow Light Garlic Cheese

11am  1/2 scoop Syntrax Pink Grapefruit in 8oz Powerade Zero with 2 ice cubes

2pm  4 artichoke heart quarters, 1/2 cup spinach & mushrooms sauteed in olive oil pam, 3oz smoked pork ribs, 2 T Stubbs BBQ sauce

4pm 3 deviled eggs

5pm s/f Demetts turtle candy

Don't know what dinner will be.. probably more pork ribs (DH smoked a BUNCH Monday night) & either green beans or Broccoli & Carrots.

Sounds like a lot of calories.. and it is, but I burned about 500 today in 2 hours of working out.. so it will even out.  If I stay out of the turtles.  :O

How is the Greek Yogurt as sour cream??? I have the plain yogurt the other day and even though I added a packet of splenda and some frozen fruit to it, it STILL tasted sour.  LOL I guess I answered my own question!

B:  GNC Amp Chocolate protein shake, 1/4 cup of frozen mixed berries, 5 ounces of skim milk

L:  4 ounces blackened whitefish (could only finish 1/2 of it), sauteed green beans (finished half)

S:  2 wedges of Laughing Cow light cheese (Blue cheese and Peppercorn)

D:  4 ounces salmon, grilled asparagus (again only finished half)

S:  rest of my dinner!

Plain greek yogurt works great as sour cream.  I put some out at a lunch where I served taco soup and no one knew the difference!

Also try mixing ranch dressing mix into it.. makes a tasty dip for veggies. 

ooohhh and then there's tzatziki.. yum!!

Hi all!  Gave the firm the day off today for Good Friday so had a nice "me" day.  MUCH needed. :)

Early:  1.5 scoops BSN Lean Protein Desserts - Choco Fudge, 3/4c almond milk, 2T PB2

B:  Bad girl - skipped breakfast since I slept in and had my shake later

S:  3/4c Greek Yogurt with 2T Pineapple SF Davinci Syrup, 2T Fiber Sprinkles

L: Turkey, feta, tomato, spinach in 1/2 Joseph's Lavash Wrap with LF balsamic dressing

S: 2T Hummus, 10 BBQ Soy Crisps

D: (Hold on to your seats lol) - NACHOS.  Yep, I'm going to the ball game with a girlfriend and I WILL EAT nachos with lots of gooey cheese and jalapenos (who cares if I can only eat like 5 or 7 of them! hahaaa)  I deserve it. :)

Dessert:  Prob hold off because I will hopefully be on nacho cheese overload!!  Bwahhaaaa.

B: 3/4 cup choc protein shake with small banana blended in.

S: 2 x 1 cup caramel flavoured coffee, decaf, with 0.1% milk

L: 1 cup tomato soup

S: probably 1/2 cup non fat custard or diet vanilla yoghurt

D: 1 cup pea and ham soup which is cooking right now and smelling wonderful

S: 1/2 cup 22g protein jell-o, fruit punch flavour

YUMMY!  I will be making Pea Soup on Monday with my leftover Easter hambone.  GUH. :)
