 Good Wednesday Morn Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great week.    Not alot on my agenda for today as of yet.    This is a post to remind everyone that we ALL have so very much in our lives to be grateful for...whether we are pre op or post op.   None of us have any promise of waking up tomorrow or today for that matter.   There is always someone out there with more problems than we have.    Today we need to focus on all the blessings that have come our way no matter how large or how small.    PLEASE feel free to share with us what you are grateful for.    Here are a few of the things that I am grateful for today.....

For waking up this AM and for my home that may not be perfect but it is mine,
For my family and friends.
For my 3 sons and my future daughter in law ( May 13th ),
For my Faith and answered prayers,
For my weight loss and my WLS,
For all the different choices available for WLS,
For support groups that are so important to keep us focused and encouraged,
For being able to do so many things that 20 yrs. ago I would have never thought would be possible,
For Obesity Help,  all the message boards, and all the wonderful people here,
For the OH Conferences.......for the New Orleans's one in Sept.  that I am going to attend,
For all of you *****ply to this post.
Have a blessed day and week.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Thank you Vivian, for the reminder to "focus on all the blessings that have come our way no matter how large or how small".  Some days I get a little blue, but I know that "He Who began a good work in me, is faithful to complete it."

Today I am grateful for:
Another day of life.
My precious husband.
The opportunity we had over the week-end to have all our children AND grandchildren
    home for a visit.
Family & friends.
Being able to graduate to a cane today.  (At least 2 more months before I can drive or
   go to the gym.)
Making progress with my ankle healing.
A good visit with lap-band surgeon- no fills, no weight gain even though weight seems
to be redistributing in the wrong places.                                                               OH, being able to learn so much from others here.

Peace.
