THE FIRST THING I'M HAVING ON FRIDAY IS A CHICKEN CESAR SALAD.. LMAO  Doctor and Nutritionist say's Friday I can go stage 5.. I CAN'T Wait... Not that I miss any food really cuz I don't ! I am excited about this Journey and yes it's been up and down but it's one ride I am glad I took and have held on to for dear life. It's so life changing but well worth it in the end and the friends you meet along the way are PRICELESS..

Hi, I have never felt full with my band.  Before surgery I thought I would eat a tiny portion and feel Thanksgiving full, but no.  And you know what?  It's okay, my new full is not feeling hungry and being able to go 4+ hours without hunger.

I still take liquid Tylenol, I'm scared to get stuck on medicine.

I have to do liquids for 24-48hours after a fill and then softs and progress carefully.  The first food I ever got stuck on was 93% hamburger.  It was too dry and I haven't eaten it again. haha

Keep up the great work!

I just had my first fill today.....6cc's.  I was so surprised!  I didn't feel a thing, but a little bit of  pressure as the saline was being put in.  I was told to do full liquids for 48 hours and then to regular food, but the doctor said to start with soft foods.  I don't have to go back for another 5 weeks.  I, too, am anxious to find out how much of a restriction I will have.  I can tell already that I can't drink as much fluid at one time, like I could before.
