Cece you are going to do FABULOUSLY!!!  Anxiety is totally normal...this is a big deal in your life!  I already know how committed you are to being successful, so the actual surgery is just a minor bump in the road on this journey my dear.  BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!  Hugs.

Cece!!!!!!!!!!!

You have already come so far! This is the easy part.

I agree with other on keeping yourself busy so you dont have time to wollow in your anxiety. I was busy busy busy the day before (we actually took the kids to Galveston to be beach bums all day.) After getting home at 6 p.m unloading all the beach stuff and cleaning up before I knew it I was exhausted and the minute my head touched the pillow I was out. an early surgery time helped too.

It seamed like time flew by before I was given that nice ****tail(via iv) before going into the surgery room so I was feeling great and READY for anything.

You will do great...just think of the quality of life youre going to have!!!!

I am thinking about ya!

I'm with you Cece. I'm 5 days away. Having all those feelings.
Then yesterday it was mentioned off-hand.  Since I had gall-bladder
surgery 20 years ago,  I might have to have full open surgery. This I do not want. I want to get going with my life. Gool Luck Kate

Hey Kate,
dont worry yourself the way I did. It was all unnecessary. I to had my gallbladder removed and was still able to have the surgery laproscopic. I prayed alot and got a lot of encouragement from people on the site. You will do great. I had my surgery yesterday. I will be praying for you. You are doing the right thing.!!! Hugs!

Thanks for getting back on the gallbladder. My primary said, the same thing, they just have to warn you of everything.
I'm glad to have found a few gals who are just starting. Hope we can make the journey together. Katie Keane
