Just wanted to thank Jean for her expert bra advise.  My daughter, 21 y.o. has always just tried on bras and bought whatever seemed to fit.  But having read Jean bra fitting posts, I took her to Macy's (we don't have a Penney's) and asked for the bra fitter.  She was measured and fitted and turns out she is not a 34C but 32D.  She looks and feels so much better in her new bras which is great for a girl with low self-esteem.  Thanks Jean.

Hi Kristi,

Doing good!  I read, just don't have a lot to say right now.  Kind of stalled out weight loss wise.  But I have an appointment with my surgeon coming up so hopefully get remotivated.

How about you?

Hi Katie,
Oh the scale is going up 2 down 2, up 1 down 1.5, but I was in the 170's for over 6 months or more and now it's in the 160's doing the same thing.  I decided that my goal is to get in as good of physical shape that I can do. I am wearing smaller sizes and I feel really good.  Several months ago I started doing Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred and I feel like that has gotten me stronger, also walking and going to try the couch to 5K program.  So I'm focusing more on the exercise than the number on scale.

Good luck on the motivation!  I think this far out it's normal for us to slow down and then speed up etc.

On the subject of bras, maybe I should get fitted.  I tried on over 15 bras and it was crazy how they just weren't quite right.  Frustrating......

Take care,
Kristi

Katie,

I'm so glad the bra fit worked out well for your daughter. So often a customer gives me a "Say what?" look when I tell them what size they are and refuse to believe it until they try on the new size!
