NSV for me!!!!

I always come to this site for any questions or concerns about having a lap band...And I always notice everyone posting about their NSV's...I read them and smile from ear to ear Just knowing that you dont always have to rely on the scale to prove your losing weight and feeling good about yourself (Which I regretfully have been doing for a while now)....Well I finally took a chance....I was out the other day and I happen to go into a clothing store...I noticed some super cute jeans and they were size 12...(I used to wear size 18 and have been walking around in 16's because Ive been dodging buying new clothes)...I put them against my waist and was like hmmm...i wonder....So I took them into the dressing room...Thinking to myself "Your just kidding yourself...There is no way YOU can wear a 12...Probably wont even go past your thighs let alone button without having to suck it in"....I pull them up, button without despair and turn around to face the mirror.....THEY FIT!!!!!!!!!!! OMG THEY FIT!!!!!!! I wanted to scream it from the roof tops!!! Finally all of my hard work is finally paying off!!! This only made me want to keep shopping more and more!!!! Needless to say..I bought the jeans and came home to show my hubby and he was so excited for me I am gonna keep working hard and Im sure I will reach my goal soon enough...Calorie counting and Zumba have been my best allies Thank you everyone for giving me the courage to keep moving forward with my weight loss battle

That is SO FANTASTIC!  Congratulations!!  You should be so very proud of your hard work!!

Great job! While reading your post I started to smile then cry. I know that feeling and it's a great feeling. Keep up the Great work. Always keep in mind out success cant be measure by the scale. Keep going.
