menu ideas?
There is a thread on this forum (What I'm Eating - Monday) and on the main board (WETEO's - Whatcha Eatin' Today EveryOne) which list people's daily menus. This helps for members like you that need menu ideas and also assists with daily accountability. Perhaps that will help you to get ideas? Also, try www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com for hundreds of WLS-friendly recipes.
I'm not sure what your question is? As far as what your willing to do ??
Menu ideas... I think meat and veggis are great but its really finding a mix of them and not eating the same thing over and over again.
Breakfast: I eat a variety of things, sometimes a protein shake w/ 1/2 banana, oatmeal, high fiber cereal, egg scramble - egg whites with veggies sometimes I throw in Hewbrew National light hot dogs or candian bacon, 1/2 piece of toast with PB or 1/2 sandwich thin with laughing cow cheese light swiss and I pile on top 1 or 2 pieces of low sodium turkey or ham
Lunch: salads, chili, left over dinner, roll ups - deli sliced chicken, turkey or ham low sodium with a piece of cheese spilt between two pieces I roll it up and dip it in mustard, tomato and cucumber salad on the side. Egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, sometimes just chicken breast and green beans
Dinner: any mix of protein and veggies, chicken, lean pork chops, shredded bbq chicken and a variety of veggies or side salad or I make a stir fry.. meat sauce with whole wheat angel hair pasta or over squash..
Snacks: I eat mostly fruit or yogurt..
