Far stretch - but do you have an ice cream maker? If so, you can make Shelly's Protein ice Cream! I've been wanting to make it for over a year now and finally bit the bullet and bought an ice cream make for $49 at Kohls. O-M-G the protein ice cream is ridonkulously good, good for you and EASY (I have Chocolate Peanut Butter in my freezer right now, wish you lived close, I'd be there in a minute with a pint!). Anyway, even if you don't make it this time around...summer is right around the corner and who doesn't love them some ice cream in the summer! Sorry you are feeling sick, by the way. Sounds like its getting worse as the day progresses too. :( Boo on sore throats! Hugs.

Lisa - I've actually been thinking about getting an ice cream maker! I'd love to try the protein ice cream, or even experiment with frozen yogurt. Thanks for the tip!

Michele - I actually agree with you, in terms of deprivation and "forbidden" foods. I came home early from work and had some soup. That helped a little. Then my husband stopped on his way home from work and got me 1 scoop of "real" coffee ice cream. It was yummy! I knew I wouldn't be safe with a whole pint in the house. After all, 1 pint = 1 serving, right??

Ice cream = heaven. And with all the variations of flavors you can make on your own? YUM. Now that you said you had coffee ice cream tonight, I want to go make a batch of Irish Cream-Coffee flavored ice cream.

Guess I've missed it more than I thought these last 2 years!
