a few NSVs for me!!!!!!

It's been a horrible and exhausting week for us. My hubster got sick at work. I took him to the Dr. and was told to get him to the hospital asap. His pulse was erratic and the ekg revealed his heart was out of rhythm. So the first NSV was that I was able to drive him to the Dr. Then I drove him to the hospital 30 minutes away. Not only did I drive but I didn't have to lay the seat back to fit behind the wheel. After ekgs, echos, stress test, cat scan, spinal tap and many other tests it was determined that he had a viral infection, but thank God it wasn't menangitis. It was a bad virus which attacked his body and caused his heart t go out of rhythm. I am also thankful to God that it wasn't a recurring heart problem. They pumped him full of numerous antibiotics and medicines. He was finally able to come home last night after several days in the hospital.
Last week our Yorkie had puppies but is unable to produce enough to feed them. I was able to keep up with the feedings and take care of my boys. Just my luck my adopted son, who was helping with the boys and puppies during the day so I could spend time at the hospital, was in our van and it died. So that left us with the hubster's truck. We've had the truck for a couple of years and I have never been able to drive it, even with the seat back, because I couldn't fit behind the wheel and reach the pedals. Today I drove it with the seat in it's regular position and I did it with ease. Now he's afraid I'm gonna steal his truck and stick him with my van once it's fixed. And I just may.
I also shocked my nutritionist by walking into her office with my walker instead of being in my wheel chair. Even though it's been a horrible week a few good things did happen.

Thanks girls for all your support. I got to practice my driving again today. My hubby had to go back to the Dr. He's still feeling pretty crappy and not quite ready to go back to work. So , lucky me, I get him and the kids home all day since the boys are on Spring Break. That's just more people to help me take car of the puppies. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Wow, I'm up way past my bed time.

Those are great NSV's for you! Congrats. Sorry you are having to go through all those challenging situations, but you are finding the positives and that will keep you strong!
