Finally paying FULL price

I went clothes shopping today (and yesterday, and the day before) --- LOL

I have a 4 day business trip starting on Sunday, and I need some business clothes that fit me.

For years (even before my WLS), I never paid full price for clothes.
I went through sizes every few months it seemed -- either going up in size or down in size, so I shopped clearance racks.

Today, I bought another pair of black slacks (size 8), and 2 blouses and a jacket (size Small) -- from Dress Barn ---- and I paid full price for all 3 of them.

I am confident that I will get lots of wear out of clothes in this size ---- I love my band!!!!

Good for You! I can't wait until I can wear a size 8. I try to look for bargain clothes now because I'm not sure how long I'll be able to wear them. I love Dress Barn! It's so weird. I keep finding myself walking over to the plus size dept. and then I remember, oh yea, I don't wear these sizes anymore.

You are such an inspiration. Getting ready to go to WW for my weekly weigh-in. Trying to hold off buying clothes, but it's becoming a necessity. My husband, who never says anything about what I wear, looked as me last week and said he was afraid my pants were going to fall off when I was walking. I'll take that as a compliment!!

Sometimes I don't think people realize how it can actually become a bit frustrating to have to go shopping every few weeks (mind you I did enjoy the sizes getting smaller part) :) I think I have leveled off until I get my skin surgery then woot woot!!! Finis :)

Congrats Kath!  You should post a picture for us in your new outfits!  I'm just now getting into size 12's, even though the scale is not moving much. 

A few days ago I took the dogs by myself for a 2 hour walk.  The next morning Jack was moving slow and looked a little sore.  We've done 1 & 1/2 hour walks before, but I think with all the times he tried to pull me after deer, bunnies and squirrels, it gave him an extra workout. hahaha

And for your Iowa weather update:  Rained all day yesterday and cold, now it's 38 degrees and cloudy and windy.  Were supposed to see some sun later, but winds up to 30mph.  I want the warmer weather to come back.

Though I love the problem and absolutely adore shopping, I understand the delimma of needing  appropriate clothing that fit for real life. 

However I have to pause to say, Wow, you're living the dream, Miss.  Congratulations to you.

Isn't it a great feeling knowing that if we keep doing our part working the band the band will keep working for us.  I like clothes too much and really like to find a bargain.
I'm so upset with myself for not checking in on OH and missed out getting to meeting you and Lisa O.   I've been spring cleaning my house and getting rid of all the old things in my life.  I can't believe how much energy I have.  I think I'm driving my family nuts they don't know what will be different when they get home from work and school.  LOL
