Think back to a time when you were successful . What were you doing then that you aren't doing now.  Mine is I used to weigh every Monday on my Wii once the numbers started staying the same I stopped. It's little thing but guess what I'm going to give it a try.  I'm also going to think of at least one more thing and try that. I'm worth it and so are you.  Have a great day.

Melanie,

I haven't been on here in a long time and came on here today exactly for this reason.  I am having a hard time getting the last of the weight off.  I have 20 more pounds to lose and have had 20 pounds to lose for a very long time.  I've been stuck at 160ish for forever.  I do need to go back and think about what was working for me when I was losing weight - putting less food on my plate, 1-3 daily workouts, minimal sweets, visit this forum more often, and a positive attitude.  Thank you for the post.  I know what I need to do.  Time to get the rest of this icky weight off and start my journey of maintaining.  Have a great day.

Hey Melanie!
It looks like I may have a business meeting in Denver the first week of June.  I'll keep you posted as the plans firm up, but maybe we could meet?  If there are any other Denver OH Bandsters out there we could all have dinner or coffee, whatever!

I love to meet my OH friends in person!

Lisa, let me know if you have any meetings in Arkansas. Bahaha  LOVE Arkansas, but no one seems to come here for meetings from other states.

My Dad is from Arkansas.  He'd like nothing better than for me to go on a trip with him to visit the few relatives we have remaining, (He's 90 yrs. old).  But, it's not top on my list of vacation spots!  Actually, I know it's beautiful there and I recently saw a picture of a wonderful old covered foot bridge that is north of LR that was in the opening scene of Gone With the Wind.  I wouldn't mind seeing that some day, so you never know...

Thanks for the invite.  If I'm ever headed to Arkansas, I'll definately let you know!

You are most definitely worth it! One thing I have to have constantly in the back of my mind is that I must be able to forgive myself for not being perfect. If I don't I will cut myself off at the ankles with negative self talk.

You can do this! Sue

I back because of getting way off track and forgetting  the basics. Did not weigh as I was were I wanted to be.  oops  there is now 20 pounds from somewhere.  My new start is to reassess myself weekly and keep a journal with weekly comments. thanks to all for help.
