Did you have to get fill taken out for surgery?

I had 4 hours worth of plastic surgery last November ----- did not remove any of my fill.

I have never had problems with anesthesia making me sick -- so we left it alone and I had the plastic surgeon give me something for nausea just in case --- did not need it.

Good luck with your surgery.

Kath,

Thanks for sharing your experience...........funny how some have problems with anesthesia and some don't... I have had motion sickness since I was a baby so maybe that is it...........anyway I will take into consideration what the ENT says and what my band surgeon says to do.

OT I had to go take a look............ Wow, those before and after pics are awesome congratulations!!!!! I wonder if I can have a plastic surgeon in there the same time as the nasal surgeon LOL!!!!

Well I've had over half dozen surgeries since banding and haven't had an unfill for any of them. According to my surgeon I would only need to do that if they were doing surgery in the immediate area of the band. I recently had gall bladder surgery and they still didn't need to do an unfill so I'd say leave well enough alone and don't unfill. As for the nausea be sure to let the anesthesiologist know and they can give you stuff for nausea before you even wake up and let your nurses know so they can get you more if you need them. I only got sick once and since I let the anesth. know before hand I haven't been sick once.
