Just had to share this:

So last night I was thinking hard about doing some diet my dad is doing.  It is called IDEAL PROTEIN.  He has lost 19 lbs. in 2 weeks.

But then, I thought and read about it.  (1) It is expensive as HELL!  Sign up fee, maitenance fees, pay for their food, etc.  (2)  It is strict as hell!  One slip up, just one, and you are back to square one.  (3)  Reviews, doctors say the second you go back to a normal diet, you regain.

So I considered this and I thought, WHY?  If I could be STRICT, I woudn't be in the predicament I am.

I just wanted to share that thought.

There ain't no moral. I just like that story. That's all. Like that story.

Sounds like the Atkins Induction diet.  You can try that on your own at no additional cost.  If you want to try a strict high protein diet, buy the Atkins book.  It works and it's a good program for bandsters.

My wife told me this morning that she read an article yesterday that American's are fat, not because of portion size, or fat content, or even sodium, but CARBS.  I fould that pretty interesting.

processed white carbs...

Any program you follow should contain some complex carbs .. even if it's just a serving or two a day.
