Day 4, No candy. I blame the bunny!

Dang Easter Bunny!

I have been having a heck of a time avoiding all the Easter candy that is in every store from the gas stations to the drug store!  It's everywhere!  Why can't they keep it all in one aisle that I can easily avoid?

My addiction this year is the Cadbury Caramel eggs.  Not the creme one's but the caramel filled eggs.  I can't go near a store without giving in to those little buggers!  Don't try one!  Trust me, it's a serious addiction!

I'm an all or nothing kind of gal.  I can't do a little candy.  I want it all and I want a lot!  All it does is stall my weight loss, make me feel tired and sluggish and causes me to crave other carbs.  So, I'm giving up candy the rest of this month.   So far I've been 4 days without candy and I'm already feeling better!

Once I make it to the end of April I will likely extend this into May, (or at least until all the Cadbury eggs are off the shelves.  (I have to make it through the after Easter sale period too!)

Want to give up candy or something else?  Join me!

We can do this!  One day at a time and that's no joke!

Hello, My name is Denise and I am addicted to Robins Eggs.

I am so glad I am not the only one.  I made it thru all the Christmas goodies - I was able to say no  thank you.  I made it thru Valentines Day Chocolate goodies without having any.

Why of Why can I not walk past the Robins Eggs.  Those little buggers are like Crack.

I am with you Lisa.  We can do this.  I will hold you hand if you smack mine.  HELP ME I'M WEAK

PMS = Chocolate + Easter.  Not a good combo.
Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.

Lisa,

This post seems to have triggered a Sweet Recollections thread....

I used to be addicted to the Cadbury's Creme Eggs, but last year I discovered the Caramel Eggs while walking down the seasonal aisle at Walgreen's. I want to emphasize that going down that aisle was the most efficient way to get to the pharmacy...and it would have cost me way, way too much effort to walk another 3 feet and walk down the household goods aisle...

I am so thankful that while I enjoy sweet things, they don't "call" to me.

However, I cannot allow tortilla chips in the house.   :(   I have an EXTREMELY difficult time only eating one serving.. I want the whole bag.

sigh.

And one day earlier this week, I ate a whole can of Wasabi Peas.  1300 calories .. more than I'm supposed to have all day.   double sigh.
