My opening statement

Well they may be done laproscopically, they are still major surgeries.  Re-routing of emtrails, or even removal of some of the stomach.  Having a band that CAN BE removed should complications arise appeals to many!

Think what you want of me, but do not attack me for posting the TRUTH!

(I know for me personally, should complications arise, I'd rather LIVE and have the device removed than have to adapt to feeling miserable the rest of my life, which may even end due to them.)

You didn't attack me.  I was just being proactive, as I have read your posts and it seems that is your defense mechanism.

Secondly.  Please re-read my post to you.  I challenge you to point out where I said the LAP BAND was reversible, not removable (a small MINOR detail).

Thirdly, the death rate while on the table having surgery is much less with BAND than any other surgery.  This is medical truth!

1. You have to have a defense mechanism when your attacked on this site as many times as I have been.
2. I don't need to re-read it. I never said that you said reversable. Many ppl do say it, so that's why I pointed it out.
3. No the death rate of band surgery is NOT less than any other surgery. Lol.. It is less than the other WLS's. No one is debating that.
4. Just wait till you have had your band a few yrs...........that is if it doesn't have to be removed before then llike happens to many ppl! You will prob. have a much different opinion of the band then!

Sounds like a really cool opportunity!!  Awesome that they are providing travel and accommodations!!

I think people do have to hear the good and bad.  I urge you to try to put it in a way that people will appreciate and consider.  Sometimes when you present your side with such force and scare tactics people do not take you seriously.

Good luck, sounds fun!

Many on the band forum consider it scare tactics b/c the band is scary! If those stories weren't true...............I wouldn't need to get the story out there. Someone has to inform those pre-op.

MARIA: for gods sake... I'm trying to give you advice to get your message across at this public forum. I'm not dissing you.

NEWBIES and people thinking of the surgery... LIKE MYSELF... would take you more seriously if you did NOT use your scare tactics. There are TONS of people on here that put their unsuccessful stories out there without the BS and I Take what they have to say to heart.

You know what... nevermind. You're exhausting. Just do your thing. Have fun, good luck.

I totally agree! Maria is her own worst enemy. Every valid statement she makes is invalidated by her rabid dog foaming-at-the-mouth presentation.

Would you please tell us what those acronyms stand for?

And as for Web Influencer...is that somehow related to your Feedburner activity?

Thanks,
