You need to trust the doc. Don't let fear push you to make a decision that will cause damage. You will have to find a way to maintain your weight loss. Plan for the fact that you will be able to eat more and just keep eating how you have been but add bulk by way of fruits and veggies, and lean protein. That's what I found to be helpful. I also did diet pills to curb the appetite, but I know that is a hot topic. Worked well for me and my band dr. prescribed them!!

You were unfilled because you have a dialted esophogus and you are considering going to another doctor to get a fill?
Do you realize that that type of thinking is seriously dangerous?
At a minimum, you risk having both doctors find out, and niether one of them ever wanting to treat you again ------ and at a maximum, you risk having an over-filled band with a dialted esophogus and serious medical issues.
You know how to diet --- stick to your eating plan, drink plenty of fluids, get lots of exercise.
Hang in there and trust your surgeon.

Flouro tells the true story. If you have a dilated esophagus, why would you want a fill? Are you wanting to permanently damage your esophagus? This journey is about getting healthier. You need to do some of the work and not have your band do all the work. You either have been eating in too large of quantities or the band is not meant for you.
Being on the looser side allows you to eat a well balanced diet and not end up doing slider foods and gaining weight.
