now the wait begins...

finally my dr received all the info from my primary to submitt to the insurance co for approval.. i have united healthcare and my dr said it usually takes 30 days.. i have a tentative surgery date for june 2nd... excited but nervous and just don't want to be rejected from the insurance co... had anyone else had an experience with united healthcare?

Well, I have United Healthcare, but my employer does not offer Bariatric Coverage --- so, I had to self-pay.

I hope that you get approved and that your pre-op work goes smoothly.

thanks.. my dr did a check with my insurance to make sure before we ever started so i hope we don't run into anything like that..
