Adjustable Gastric Band on 03/17/11

I am not one to too my own horn or brag. I'm also pretty calm when it comes to stuff, but this...this I had to shout from the mountaintops.

I weighed myself this morning, and I was astonished at what the scale said: 299.8 lbs. It hasn't said this since, oh, 2004? How sad is it that I can't remember the last time I weighed less than 300 lbs. I put on shirt I haven't worn since 2008 and it was a tent on me.

I'm just stunned...I can cross my legs and sit indian-style on the couch. I rolled around with my son on the floor this morning and didn't cry out in pain. My ass actually looks like it's getting smaller...really.

Anyway, I just wanted to post to maybe give a few people hope that one day they, too, will get to say this. I am over the moon and back.
