I think that's great. It shows that with hard work and determination, you can make great strides in weight loss.

Congrats on your success! That's something my doc stresses even more than aerobic is strength training. Which is good for me because I have a lung disease and aerobic work is pretty much out of the question for me but strength training I can do nice and slow. In fact sometimes slower is better to really isolate particular muscles. Good work!

I love that they put a sample of your workout for the whole week. I was going to ask how often you did what because I've always been told that you aren't supposed to do weights 2 days in a row but I see that you have it broken up so you are working different muscles on the 4 days you do strength training. Then on your off days you do Cardio or Yoga....do you also do cardio on your strenght training days?

I recently changed up my routine - I started gaining some weight which my trainer wanted me to but I didn't - i hate seeing the scale over 155 so I am now doing 25 min moderate card (elliptical) e.g. heart rate between 125-145 5x week.  If I do a hour class I will eliminate one card session - but yes, I do the cardio 3x week after strength training (take amino acids in between) then one of my days off I do an hour kickboxing.

Now I also do 3 days strength 1 day off 2 days strength 1 day off.  I will post my new routine later today - im off to the gym now for Kick Boxing!
