I decided to use Fitday to track my foods. Now of course at this time being only 2 weeks out I don't necessarily have to do this, I am not even at full foods yet. But just for the heck of it I decided to track what I ate yesterday.

I was able to get in 696 calories 15.4 gms of fat 61.6 gms of carbs and 70 gms of protein. All I ate was tuna, laughing cow cheese, a protein shake with skim milk and a container of greek yogurt! I can only imagine what I ate before when i didn't track it. wow how we tend to delude ourselves into thinking "I don't know HOW I gained all my weight, I don't eat much." Wow. That's all I can say.

it really does add up. I love fitday i am just not good at recording things all the time. I so know how I got fat... years of eating plate fulls of pasta and washing it down with coke... and not moving... i so know that I have to eat way less and move so much more to ever balance the scales... if you know what I mean.

im thinking of getting a phone that has an app like fitday... if I had one on like that on me all the time... maybe I would record things better...

the nurses at my clinic had me swear to eat no more that 1 cup of food at a time three times a day... with small protien snacks if I need it...

thats a new concept for me...hope it works!

I think that is the biggest thing I can stress to new bandsters is to journal your food because it's so easy top forget just one item and depending on what that one item is it can destroy your whole day of eating. Plus it keeps us constanly mindful of what and how much we are eating.
