7 years with my band today...and counting!!!!

Good Morning all my fellow bandsters I just wanted to quickly post before work to say that its my 7 yr band anniversary today!! Seven years ago today I was nervous getting ready for my surgery-obese and scared, "Was I making the right decision?" Well the answer is YES YES YES!!! I am happy, healthy, and living a normal life. I don't obsess over food like I used to prior to getting my band (I would be eating breakfast thinking about what my lunch would be). I also don't have to eat a large meal to fill myself before I go to a family party so it would look to my family like I ate a normal portion in front of them (if that makes sense). I am the perfect size 12 (started at a size 26) and I couldn't be happier. I just want all the newbies to understand there is long term success with the band and I intend on having mine for life! Thank you for all the support through my research stage, surgery stage, losing stage, maintenance stage and finally my plastic surgery stage it has changed my life!!

Congratulations Karianne Thank you for being such and insperation to many of us. REALIZE Band on 11/10/10

I WAS BANDED ON NOVEMBER 10,2010 AND IVE LOST 50 POUNDS!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED WHERE ILL BE IN A YEAR!!! I WANT TO LOSE 40 MORE POUNDS!!! YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ME!! I WANT A TUMMY TUCK WHEN IM DONE LOSING WEIGHT!!! WAS IT A BAD/HARD SURGURY? ANY POINTERS OR TIPS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! JOYCE
