Naysayers/Negative People/Call Them What You Want

Ignore the back peddling dumb ass Maria and if she chooses to have a lap band VS any other surgery type then all we can do is wish her well and hope she doesn't have any complications like so many of our bandster friends.
I think I'll do the future bandster a favor and post some links her from other bandsters who also regret their choice to join the " Band Wagon "

I should know because I used to be one of them. I too used to ferociously protect my surgery type from the other ( at the time ) batt **** crazy vulchers from the RNY and DS board. Now I wish I would have listened to them instead of sitting here with a barely filled band that doesn't give me any restriction and cannot tolerate ANY more fill no matter how small the fill or I am unable to swallow my own damn spit.

My port area burns and stings for no apparent reason and when I'm on my period I can't eat or swallow ANYTHING. God forbid my allergies kick up because then I am truly ****** I end up choking on my nasal drips. If I get a cold then I can't swallow my own spit. Why didn't anybody tell me that eating teeny tiny bites of dense protein that I chewed into smithereens would give me that " I'm having a heart attack feeling "

Anybody with the band experience BACK PAIN now....because some of us are.

if you are a pre-op, the people you would need to listen to the MOST are those who are not 100% pro-band. 

if you are smart.

when I was a pre-op the very best info I got on OH was from those who had experienced problems of any kind. it isn't the GOOD stuff you need to be informed about.

and Pumpkin is a real person, no doubt at all.

I'm all about reading the bad info.  I go to the revision board everyday.  I am fully informed on WLS.  I've done my research and then some.  What I DON"T need is propaganda and being called names.  I'm an adult whom is trying to make an informed decision and I'm made to feel, by these trolls, that if I do chose the band, I'm an idiot and deserve everything I have coming to me.  

Why?  we are on here for the same reason, to better ourselves and I have to read these "woman" calling other woman names, using trash mouths to get their point across.  There are plenty of people on here that tell there stories everyday in a non-offfensive way. 

At the end of the day, it's funny that one can get there panties in such a bunch to go off on a trash mouth tirad,name calling,  private messaging me some nonsense and hope the worst for my "band" if I do chose to get it.  I just can't get over that grown woman can act so silly on a "SUPPORTIVE" forum.  What's the point?

My crap band story has been fully documented on OH for a very long time. As well as my daughters. Don't be a dip **** and start to back track now by saying that you were just joshing with Maria. You sound like an uneducated redneck who needs to pull their head out of their sphincter and come up for a breath of fresh air.

From what you've written, it sounds like you already have a LapBand...with too much saline in it...around your brain...because ain't nuthin' getting through.

There are MANY of us who are sharing our experiences and--unfortunately for you, because you are way too dense for any malabsorptive surgery and if you get one, you'll surely kill yourself though stupidity--those experiences are negative.

BTW, Pumpkin isn't a troll, and neither are all the formerly banded people on the RnY and DS boards and neither are all the miserable banded peple on the Revision boards.

I can hardly wait for you to get your band.
