Great Article! I have been reading a lot about the GI lately and just read last night all about how beneficial grapefruits are in the whole equation. Apparently "grapefruit lowers your insulin, which regulates your fat metabolism, suppressing your appetite and burning calories faster". Now I need to stock up on some grapefruit. It only has a GI of 3.

GI is really outdated and useless...unless you're diabetic.
