I'm having my first fill this week, and don't really know what to expect. I'm excited to have the fill though, the last few weeks I have been hungry and not lost any weight. Has this happenned with anyone else? What should I expect next?

It is not bad at all . A little pinch and then you are good. I have to lay on the table and lift my shirt up and do a really tight tummy crunch and he accesses my port and then It is over and I sit up and drink some water to see if all is well and it is over.:)

I have a follow-up question if HG3 doesn't mind me hijacking her post.  After the fill is done will it feel more like it did the first few days after surgery.  For the first week afterwards I could only eat a small amount of food.  Currently I could (trying not to though) eat almost as much as before surgery.

It is not a big deal at all.  It only takes a few seconds.  Usually the doc wants you on soft foods for a day or two.   Good luck, you are on your way.

My typical experience has been that for about one week after a fill, I experience a new level of restriction. Then when this honeymoon period (most likely due to the swelling and irritation from the fill subsiding) has passed, I kind of loosen up a little bit and find that I could (but try my utmost not to) eat a bit more. Yet there are others here that have the opposite experience, about a week after the fill they experience a new level of restriction and some experience no change one way or the other. And there is one person here who just by having an unfilled band, has experienced enough restriction to move her forward in her weight loss journey.

I had another fill about one week ago and had great restriction for about four days. I hit the green zone and then all of a sudden I found myself way too tight. Went back to the dr's this past Friday and had a bit taken out. So far so good.

My first fill was at 6 weeks post-op. I had 3ccs put in my unfilled band. Second fill was approx 3-4 weeks later and I had another 2ccs added. The day after that fill, I came down with a bad case of the stomach flu and ended up having .5ccs removed. Next fill was about another 4 weeks later and I had .75ccs put in and hit the green zone. All of a sudden, I became too tight and had .5ccs taken out and now I am either just into the green zone or right at the very edge of it. Not too sure yet.

I find that I have to be careful after each successive fill and make sure that what I could eat after the previous fill, is still able to go down the hatch without an issue.  :)

Everyone is different. Take it one day at a time and listen to your dr, your body and what your band tells you.
