Not every on agrees with you! Get over it!!!

May I say, as a relatively new person to the band and this forum, that this is one of the most negative boards I have ever been on (and I troll Fark.com and news sites all the time). In the threads I've read, which are admittedly few, I've seen people attack and ridicule each other for liking/not liking the band, losing/gaining weight, and generally just bee a**holes to one another.

We are all on this journey together. We all need to support each other instead of tearing ourselves down. We forget sometimes thtat there are real people behind this imaginary name and this wall called the internet. We forget that there are feelings behind these words and a human soul who types them.

All I ask, as a newbie on this amazing ride, is that you remember the adage that our mothers have told us since we were little kids: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. And, if you absolutely  have to say something that might hurt someone then write it down, walk away for thirty minutes, then come back and reread it BEFORE you post. I guarantee that will solve a great deal of the hothead issues on this board.

Just my two ducats on the matter. Take it as you will, your mileage may vary, offer void in all fifty states except Texas, which seems to think it's better than everyone else, no purchase necessary.

I agree with almost everything you said. Now the part about if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything..............as far as the people  yes. As far as the product, no. I feel that pre-ops need a realistic evaluation of what the band is really like. How else could they make an informed decision if they ONLY hear the posts from those that have possitive band experiences.

I do feel though...........that as far as the people, if you can't say anything nice...............don't say anything at all. I never understood why on this forum there are so many that want to personally insult and attack members just b/c they do not agree with their opinion!!!

But regardless............OH can be a wonderful resource. I have met some amazing ppl through here! So as I have often said............Take the best, and leave the rest.

I agree with Lady Lithia on this one.

Lady Lithia ha**** the nail on the head.  She makes her very valid points by calmly and eloquently expressing them - very refreshing.  It makes me want to read her whole post and actually think about and consider what she's saying instead of reacting negatively to HOW she's saying it.  Interesting.

I just don't like to see people give power to others that they don't deserve..... and I like to see people step up to the plate and MAKE the forum the kind of place they would want to visit, rather than complaining about what it isn't, MAKE it what it should be.
