Hi you guys!  Just want to check in and let everyone know how I am progressing etc....I started the liquid diet February 23rd and I had surgery on March 9th.  So far as of today 5 weeks later I have lost 32 lbs.  YEAH!  Can't believe it and I know the weight loss will slow but I will take it.  As a result I have a couple of NSVs:

1.  My jeans are too big- don't need a girdle to get them on and they are sagging.
2.  Wore some jeans that have been in the closet about 2 years on Tuesday---WOW!  Could not zip them before.
3.  Many people have noticed the Weight loss.
4.  Getting compliments from the hubby and 10 year old son.  Kids notice everything good or bad.
5.  Bought a skirt 2 sizes down to wear on Easter and I should have gone down 3 because it is kinda big.  YEAH!
6.  Took a new ID pic and the person taking the pic noticed how much slimmer my face looked and asked what I did.  On the old ID my face looked like a big circle.
7.  I could go on but I will stop here-this is starting to sound a little vain, arrogant.

Well you guys so far so good.  Keep up the hard work because this is hard work.

Congrats with all the NSV's.  Take the skirt back.  It will really be too big by Easter:)

Thanks!  I appreciate your optimism however, now that I am on mushies it is slowing down.  I can't wait to get a fill and be allowed to exercise.   Right now I am only walking, I try to get all my protein in-talk about yucky.  You are right about the skirt though, I think I was buying based on my past history.  You know how disappointing it is to buy something nice and then you find yourself not able to wear it because you have gained.  Take care and thanks for the kind words.

Come on now 18lbs. is nothing to sneeze at ---congrats. . BTW remember that 32 lbs. includes the pre-op liquid diet and it has slowed down now that I am on mushies.   Slow and steady wins the race.  Keep up the good work.
