So I have to say.. OH has been a "huge" help and a wealth of information that I needed.

For probably 4-5 years Lap-Band has been on my life "wish list"...but every year would come and go along with insurance denial/exclusions. During this time I watched my lucky sister get banded (insurance paid) and succeed and loose a huge amount of weight.

Turning 30 I made a statement of "Lap-Band 2011" and stuck with it. With my sweet husband's support (even though he didnt completely understand and loves me for who I am)...I have been saving and working hard on the 11K surgery cost.. and this morning I paid it in full and my surgery is Monday.

I used OH to research and find a fantastic, highly recommended doctor. Every morning for months now, I would log on to OH and find motivation to stay determined to succeed at my goal...Surgery!

Thank you to all the ladies that I have been silently reading/watching for months.. (that sounded creapy wow) I am looking forward to my "after album"

Next Goal..... weight loss and a healthier life style. :)

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Thanks Ladies! :) I will keep ya'll posted and have done alot of reading on here so I think I know what to expect, but should something arise I will certainly be on here asking the people who can speak from personal experience!!
