Deciding to be "carb free"...Any advice??
Hello Fellow Bandster,
Speaking from experience saying NO to all carbs is instant failure. Why don't you turn your focus to the type of carb you are eating and make that change there first. You will notice a change and it will help you become a more balanced eater and have better nutrition. Believe it or not our body does need carbs but the right kind of carbs. You know those complex carbohydrates that come from veggies, fruits and whole grains.
I am reccently recovering from a CARB bindge myself and I set the following daily guidelines for myself.
I must have:
60 grams of Protein Daily
2 Servings of Fruit Daily
3 Servings of Veggies Daily
8 cups of Water Daily
2 Servings of Dairy Daily
1 Serving of Whole Grain Bread/Grain per week
1 Serving of Cheese per week
Good Luck,
Broom
