I am sooo hungry
I'm 3-1/2 years further along than you are so my day-to-day experience of my band is naturally different from yours (and everybody else's), but I find that ice-cold beverages can help tame hunger.
When I'm on a liquid diet now (after a fill), I like to add Unjury chicken soup flavor protein powder to just about any flavor of soup.
Hang in there, it does get better.

My problem is finding a protein drink that doesn't make me gag. The liquid stuff is gross and the powders are kind of expensive to buy randomly and are not as high in protein.
during my first few days post op, apple juice diluted 50/50 w. water was a life saver for me. I also used it over soft pellet ice my hubby bought by the 5 lb bag at a local fast food place. It was more satisfying than jsut plain water or crystal light. stay hydrated using whatever means you must at first and of course, get your protein drink in on a consistent basis. the protein will help with the hunger. I had to journal how much and when I drank it becuase the time slips up on you before you know it and then it's time to drink again. The final thing that helped me most was trying to stay positive and realize that the liquid phase would be over soon and was necessary for proper healing of my band. YOu want to come out of this as healthy as possible, so just follow dr. orders, read, go for a walk, take long hot showers, and pamper yourself in ways you usually don't do. get some new shower gel, candles, lotion, etc and baby yourself. you deserve it. you'll get through this, you can do it.
