No, I kept my RNY anatomy so I didn't literally revise FROM a RNY...I had stretched my pouch beyond repair and just needed restriction back so for that reason I opted for the band to be placed over my pouch.  I did my research and liked that it was adjustable for life.  It has been a perfect fit for my lifestyle thus far.

It can take several fills to get good restriction. And even then, we only lose at the same speed we would if we went to WW or some other diet programme. There are always some who seem to be losing faster than we are! But don't compare yourself to others.

This first stage is hard! Just hang on in there!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Don't get discouraged. It will be different after a fill or a few fills. Some surgeons do fills at 4 weeks. Some are more conservative. It's better to be safe than sorry. No need to rush. Take time to heal first. I was told the first few weeks are more about healing than losing.
