I actually blocked several people for being unkind in my opinion. I agree with everything you said Kate.  Thanks for posting this!

dislike unkind people!  Im sorry people treat others in such a manner.  I have so far only blocked 1 person who on my first day nearly made me running from here thinking everyone of this site were total nut cases - fortunately thats not the case

Kate great post !!! and I do apologize for my comments in the other thread , I have been biting my tongue for several months on this and because that post is very near to what I'm going through right now I did not need to hear that from anybody because I know its not the truth .

People hit stalls or snags and just because they do DONT mean the band failed them or they are doing something wrong which was clearly pointed out to me last week.

I never answer people like that or talk like that I'm sorry if I caused anybody to be uncomfortable because truly that isn't me

OH by the way the scales moved again for this morning I hit 305   I lost 4.5 pounds this week !!!

I think between support that dang nurse  I put alot of unneeded stress on me .  Now I got the thinking whatever I lose I lose because as long as the scales go down instead of  up  I'm happy with that .

Sorry to hijack the last part I wanted everybody to know that helped me last week that I truly truly appreciated it !!!!!

Steelerfan, this was in now way aimed at anything you said!  I was not aware of you saying anything for which you need to apologise!

Great Post Kate...I think if Maria weren't so defensive, she might "get" it.  We ARE trying to be supportive of her.   I think all the band experiences should be shared but the WAY in which you do it is SO important.  Yet, no matter how gently or supportive its being said, the message doesn't seem to be received.   Sigh.

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband  (four  fills) 1 unfill of .5cc  on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill  March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012.  Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

HW: 267lbs- size 22-24  LW:194lbs  CW:198lbs  Size 14-16

The message has been "received", it's just that I don't agree with EVERYTHING that was in the message. Simple as that!
