Ok I had my surgery Friday the 25th and I can start full liquids on Monday and to be honest all I can think about is pudding and cream of chicken soup and cream of wheat.  Please if you know of some other stuff let me know...  Thanks

there really isn't alot on full liquids but soups just drain out the chunks of it and drink the broth .

You are lucky on the cream of wheat I wasn't allowed to have that till 4 weeks post op so enjoy that just make sure you make i****ery :o)

I really enjoyed broccoli and cheese soup I ate alot of that .  Sugar free pudding , jello, yogurt I was allowed to eat that as long as it didn't have the fruit in it .

Subway has a kick butt broccoli and cheese soup out it is wonderful I wi**** was out when I had mine lol,  but just make sure you dont eat the chunks of broccoli out of it .

Now dont panic if you gain some weight from all this .  When I started my full liquids about 2 weeks out till my 6 week post up I gained around 7 pounds.

You will be eating quite a bit of carbs and high sodium foods BUT that is okay this is a time for healing your tummy right now so dont worry about it :o)   All mine came off plus addition 5 pounds about 7 weeks out when I could get back to normal foods where I could watch my carbs and sodium.

Just remember nothing with chunks or you have to chew , you dont want to damage your stomach your band during this phase :o)

And I dont know how your doc has you set up but when I was on full liquids I was allowed to eat a cup at a time  just dont drink it down to fast !!!

I see a mix of full liquids and soft/mush foods - my doctor makes a specific distinction between the 2.  Full liquids are food like tomato and other pureed cream soups, icecream, raw egg whites ( I think that is week 2 post op and lasts 4 weeks)
Mushies are like refried beans, cream of wheat, small curd cottage cheese, yogurt, pudding (are after full liquids and lasts another 4 weeks)

Soooo are you on full liquids or mushies???  If you aren't sure, give your doc office a call Monday morning - you don't want to over do!

the way the nurse explained it to me was that I am allowed to have anything that will go through a straw.
