I can feel my port I have always been able to. Since yesterday It is very sore around the area. I woke up like that and it has not gone away. Just wondering if anyone else has had this pain before? Not sure if i slept wrong or if it is something else.

Have you been doing alot of AB work lately ? I know since i started Zumba and working them muscles where the port is, it can get a little tender for me also for a few days especially if I dont work out for a few days .

I hate the port pain. Remember that it's attached to muscle, I noticed if I move the wrong way, stretch or SNEEZE It gets alittle tender for a while. I don't think you've got anything to worry about unless it's swollen and or red & warm around the area.. Hope you feel better soon...

Pretty much the same as everyone else sadi. I have port pain sometimes, just kind of a twingy, pinchy pain. It usually happens after I slept funny, or turned sharply, or worked a different muscle group. I would say that unless you have other issues like warm to the touch, it lasts for more than a few days, or is accompanied by fever, etc. then it is probably nothing. If you have any concerns though certainly go see your surgeon for a check-up.

So glad you posted this.  Me too!  I like you have always been able to feel my port.  I woke up yesterday feeling a little tender in the area.  I actually feel uncomfortable when I lay on it at times.  I'm a stomach sleeper.  So glad to hear others have it too.  Thank you!

I am a stomach sleeper too! This site is great with any question you have. After a day of having pain my husband said why don't you ask your website friends you always seem to feel better after you hear from them. I hate to admit it when he is right
